Who We Are
Robot Saves City began as a loose collective of comedians who have since spread out and settled on opposite coasts and everywhere in between. We are a digital release comedy label that is dedicated to releasing diverse/new/quality comedy. Whether it be through our free releases (videos and full albums) or our full releases (live comedy LPs and EPs available on Itunes and Bandcamp), we take pride in everything we put out and every comic we represent.
Production Staff and How We Record
Our audio engineer and our videographer have recently settled in Norman, OK and Oklahoma City, OK respectively. Thus, we have established a list of live performance spaces around that area to mitigate production costs, such as the cost of having to hire a freelance production staff to record in other states. Comedians simply fly in or drive in, while we book shows/record those shows. This allows us to put out the best albums that we can for prices that are most affordable for everyone.
History
In 2007, we started with an idea – a compilation CD of 100 copies. Those CDs circulated to various venue owners and bookers, leading to shows for those comics in theatres and clubs. Now we’re this. And we look forward to bringing you great comedy for years to come.
